Gluten Free Chocolate Buckwheat Waffles with Chocolate Maple Syrup - made with healthy wholesome ingredients. Delicious, gluten free, and the perfect start to any day.
In a large bowl, whisk buckwheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In an other bowl, whisk eggs, milk, coconut oil, and vanilla.
Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until combined.
When your waffle iron is hot, coat with butter or spray and spoon 1/2 cup of batter. Cook according to your waffle iron's manual.
Top waffles with sliced strawberries, almonds, and drizzle chocolate maple syrup.
Chocolate Maple Syrup
In a small pot, bring water and maple syrup to a boil. Reduce heat to medium/low and whisk in cocoa powder. Simmer for 2 minutes, whisking occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and pinch of salt.
