Ground turkey is a leaner alternative to ground beef. Beans give the chili an extra boost of protein plus tons of fiber.
Sweet potatoes are rich in vitamin A (in the form of the antioxidant beta-carotene), vitamin C, vitamin B6, and potassium. They are also a good source of fiber and since they are have a low glycemic index, you wont have a blood sugar spike.
